Online Qigong Classes

Online Qigong Classes - Working with the Yin Meridians - Fire
#trueqigong #onlineqigong #DesLawton

Learn Qigong online with Des Lawton. The Shibashi, Ba Duan Jin, the Five Taoist Yin, The Eight Exceptional Vessels and all as true Qigong. Learn in depth.

We took the decision to create online Qigong classes because of the onslaught of the Covid-19 virus and the lock down that has been, necessarily, imposed by governments. The idea was that they can help to keep you active, healthy, and maybe stop you getting cabin fever. However, as the positive feedback has been overwhelming, we will be keeping them as a regular feature…………. and will be adding more online classes.

QIGONG EXPERIENCES – WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING

Our online Qigong classes now include: The Exceptional Vessels Qigong, the Orbits Qigong, the Ba Duan Jin, etc. There are also five days of on-demand viewing where you can download the recording of each class to further your practice.

When you practice true Qigong and access your Qi it opens doors to amazing experiences. True Qigong enhances awareness that goes beyond the physical. Here is just one example:

  • As you know I have been practicing with Phil regularly for the past 2 years and I won’t forget the first time I felt Kidney 1 bubbling.
I particularly like the way you explain sinking and folding and also the movement in front stance. I have discovered that I was moving too far back and not keeping the wuji bend so have been practicing that (when I’m waiting for the kettle to boil?)
Also wanted to say that Tuesday was the first time I really felt Bladder on the back of my legs during Rowing the Boat.
I find Qigong fascinating. Thank you for sharing.

    Kind regards
    Brenda

  • Hi Des,
I have been practicing tai chi and Qigong Shibashi for 14 years but I have never felt the Qi before your classes.  Perhaps that says as much about my previous instructors as it does about me!
I should have mentioned that my Qigong participants are also my tai chi participants.  Most of them have been doing tai chi since 2018 when I started teaching so they’re familiar with flowing movements, weight transference, etc.  We always do a few minutes of abdominal breathing at the beginning of the class and while I’ve explained the concept of Qi (admittedly not very well) my folk weren’t grasping what I was struggling to describe.  Now we have something tangible to work with I’m hoping we will also develop our tai chi practice into being more than a physical exercise.

    Thanks again.
    Irene

  • Just wanted to send you a quick email after our Tuesday morning exceptional vessels lesson. I think I’m now much better at opening the different Master points on the feet and ankles and I’m really enjoying the feeling of me guiding the qi flow, although I can’t quite believe I’m doing it!
Almost everyday now I experience a strong microcosmic flow which starts spontaneously when I’m standing in a relaxed way. I must admit the flow sensation is powerful and almost scares me a bit.
I’m enjoying my Qigong very much and I know it’s helped my health and outlook on life a lot. Keep up the great work!

    Best wishes R.
